Founder and Principal of 2W Systems Company, Inc., a software company
specializing in Systems Design, Statistical Consulting, SAS® Programming
and training. The company was founded in 1983 and incorporated in June 1985.
Willy Waks is an expert in
the SAS® system on most
platforms supported by this software (Windows, Unix, MVS), and has wide
experience programming in other languages and interfacing with several databases
engines (Oracle, DB2, SQL-Server) as well as the Word Wide Web. He also has
experience managing large-scope projects.
In addition to managing 2W
Systems, Mr. Waks became was (1999-2000) Chief Technology Officer for Kart
Digital, Inc., a start-up company involved in software development for law
enforcement agencies.
Before 1983, Mr. Willy Waks
held various technical management positions in his native country, France
• From 1982 to 1983: Manager
of the Information Services Group for IFOP/ETMAR, a major market research and
polling company in
Paris.
• From 1980 to 1982,
Programmer, then Team Leader for TRANSTEC, a Systems Conversions and Software
Migrations firm in
Paris.
Willy Waks holds a B.Sc.
Computer Sciences and a graduate degree in History from
Paris
universities. He also holds a BA in Social Sciences from the Hebrew University
in Jerusalem, Israel.
